While repairing the portion of 'automata 9' which was lost through
an interruption in the telephone connection, it occurred to me to
embellish the table with a marginal histogram. The conclusions drawn
from the table (about means and variances) would probably be more
convincing had the histogram been constructed correctly, by graphing
totals rather than frequencies:
