David Bell's article on the subject of spaceships in Conway's Life,
first posted to comp.theory.cell-automata in 1992, is now available by
email from the IXI Info-server.

To obtain the article, send an email message to "infosvr@x.co.uk", with
the following contents (the subject line will be ignored):

    reply user@site.domain
    send life.spaceships
    end

Do not put any spaces before the first word on each line. The
Info-server will then mail you the article in 10 parts (each part is
plain text and less than 60k, the total is about 440k).

For more information about the Info-server, replace the "send" command
with the "help" command.

The Info-server is a family of simple shell scripts, and can have problems
with unusual mail addresses. If you don't receive a reply in a reasonable
time (IXI is connected directly to the Internet), then send a message of
the form:

    reply user@site.domain
    human
    A description of the problem.
