Cellular Automata List

This is an attempt to resurrect the Cellular Automata mailing list,
CA@xxxxxxxxxx  I am the maintainer of the list, but there has been very
little traffic; far more requests to be added or removed from the list than
actual discussion.  If this plea fails to generate any traffic, I may
retire the list.

I just got caught up processing requests from the last two months or so;
this is a mass acknowledgement to those who wished to be added.

There are approximately 200 direct mailings from this list; some of those
are further redistribution points, so the readership should be quite high.

To make the list more viable, I also plan to hook the list back up with the
Usenet news group comp.theory.cell-automata in the near future.  The
newsgroup was created to work hand-in-hand with the mailing list, but they
have been disconnected for a while.  Lately, traffic in
comp.theory.cell-automata is about 1 message every 2 or three days.

I do not moderate the list; messages sent to CA@xxxxxxxxx will be
automatically redistributed to the whole list.  If you want off the list,
or if you have a problem with the list, or you get bounced mail messages
after making a submission, please send mail to CA-Request@xxxxxxxxx and I
will take care of it.

For those of you on the Internet, you should be able to retrieve archives
from host think.com in the files mail/ca-archives*.  They are in Unix
mailbox format.

So, have at it!
